Fiction for Contemporary Women

Posted by Emma on March 10, 2013 in Uncategorized |

Fifty Shades of Grey changed the face of Contemporary Women’s fiction forever.  It definitely changed the way that many women think about what goes on behind closed doors.  I have to admit that I read all three of the trilogy back to back and couldn’t get enough of Ms. James writing.  I found particularly interesting her use of emails between her two main characters.  The witty ways in which she had them communicating gave life to the characters.

I also like to read Janet Evanovich’s books.  I love her character Stephanie Plum.  She gets into the most interesting situations while being a bounty hunter.  She has a couple of interesting men in her life as well.

I also write women’s fiction and have begun on a series called The Divorce Diaries.  The first book of the series is available at amazon.com.  It is called The Man Who Disappeared.  I worked as a forensic accountant for 20 years, mainly in family law. I experienced seeing nice people doing their best not only  to hurt the other people and not caring if the children get caught in the middle.  My stories are loosely based on some of those cases.

More books in the series will be published soon and will continue your enjoyment of the Divorce Diaries. Check this blog for news of upcoming book publication dates.
